Divine Incandescence

Divine Incandescence, 2026, Oil on canvas, 36x48 Personal connections and relationships are a flame that needs protection. This piece is a reminder of the power in true, vulnerable, and loving connections. The hands symbolize a burning flame reflecting warmth and trust. Incandescent vines symbolize the beautiful growth of personal relationships. Painting light in a dark scene was challenging because of the high contrast between darks and lights. Multiple layers were used to achieve the lighting effect.
